Challenge Corner #5 – Love
What’s that? Cadi‘s written a thing about love? That’s out of character!
That’s right! We’re at least a month off from that Valentine’s Day thing, and I’m the last person you’d expect to be writing anything remotely near the romance genre, but this week’s prompt is going to be about love!

There’s not a lot of preamble to give you for this one, so here we go:
Write about something you love so much, but can’t have.
Seems easy, right? Well, that’s because you’ve forgotten the super bonus options. You don’t have to do the super bonus options, but you get bonus points if you do! (Disclaimer: I’m not actually keeping track of points. At all. But the idea of getting bonus points is pretty cool, right? And if you get enough, you can give yourself virtual cookies, too!)
+ Bonus Points if the thing you love isn’t a person.
++ Double Bonus Points if it’s not a living being at all. (That means no cats or puppies!)
+++ Triple Bonus Points if you also include a pufferfish. (On top of the double bonus points – so you can’t be madly in love with a living pufferfish!)
Feeling challenged yet? You can write in first person, or third, or second; the ‘you’ doing the loving can be actually you, or a character; you can write in verse or prose or anything you choose. But bring me pufferfish! >:)
